Our Story

At Koi, we believe healing is a journey, one best walked together.
We’re a mother and daughter duo sharing a passion for helping people move functionally, laugh like no one is watching, reduce discomfort and pain, and finding the balance.

With over 50 years combined in the Melton and Bacchus Marsh community, this is more than just where we work it’s home. We’ve seen generations grow, families thrive, and familiar faces become lifelong friends.

Our aim is to give back to the community that has supported us, by offering genuine, honest care for those navigating pain, recovery, and wellbeing.

ABOUT KOI.

“The dark does not destroy the light; it defines it. It’s our fear of the dark that casts our joy into the shadows.” - Brené Brown

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple, to help people move better, reduce pain, and support them in reaching their goals.
Whether that’s getting back to work, returning to sport, or simply feeling comfortable and confident in daily life, we’re here to help people feel more capable in their own bodies.

We take pride in walking alongside and collaborating as a team with each person on their healing journey delivering practical guidance, hands-on treatments, and access to a trusted referral network when extra support is needed.

The Meaning Behind Koi

The name Koi is inspired by the philosophy of the koi fish, a symbol of resilience, courage, and transformation. The koi swims upstream, embracing the current rather than resisting it, reminding us that growth often comes through challenge.

Our logo also features the yin and yang, representing the balance we all seek the light and dark, strength and softness, effort and rest.

Because true healing honours both sides.
